Fun, casual spot offering unique Tex-Mex dishes. We enjoyed the chicken and spinach quesadilla, steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and nachos. We each had a house margarita with salt. Everything was delicious. Fast, friendly, attentive service too.

We had a very nice dinner at Mossfire Grill, a homey neighborhood spot for tasty tacos, hearty homestyle dishes, and one of the best margaritas in JAX. Our attentive server was super nice, ensuring that our salsa supply was never depleted, our chips were plentiful, and that we had no fears of becoming thirsty! The aforementioned salsa and chips were excellent: the freshly prepared tortilla chips shattered at first bite and had a fresh corn flavor that one only gets with the freshest of chips. And the salsa, which is also made in house, was high quality and delicious. The margaritas were excellent: clearly prepared with fresh lime rather than a sickly sweet mix chock full of high fructose corn syrup. No these were the real deal, both refreshing and with the right amount of tartness. The tacos were excellent, with the steak tacos my favorite. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly as requested at medium rare, not an easy task with small cubes of beef. They were nicely marinated and flavorful, and perfectly balanced by the sweet corn and cilantro that also filled the fresh flour tortillas. My wife ordered the special that night, which was a TexMex steak frites. It was a delicous and very generous portion of skirt steak served on a massive mound of perfectly executed fries, all covered in a slightly spicy sauce.
